Eliot the cat, plus stuff
Watched War Horse.
I considered leaving after Ben and Tom were all finished, plot wise, and probably should have.
My main problem with the movie was that I knew that the only people who were guaranteed to make it to the end were the horse and the boy, so I didn’t bother getting attached to any of the characters. So in the end, I didn’t care.

The fact that most people only know Ginger Rogers as Fred Astaire’s dance partner; she was a great actress in her own right.

From Miss Austen Regrets.

I’m near to stopping this movie. Almost hitting too close to home…

Sour grapes, disappointment, jealously. And feeling old.

I soldier on.

But darling girl, this is the real world. The only way to get a man like Mr. Darcy is to make him up.
Jane Austen (Miss Austen Regrets)
Imagine my surprise at discovering that (for years now) I have something that Tom Hiddleston was in on my DVD shelf!
I know, I said I wasn’t going to become one of those raving “Hiddles” fangirls, but I’ve been wrong before. Anyway, I’m watching Miss Austen Regrets for the first time in years, and wondering why I haven’t played it more than once. Tom aside, it’s entertaining, and light years better than Becoming Jane was.
The silliest thing is that in searching for a screen cap from this film I still came across pictures of him as Loki! His fans do realize he isn’t actually Loki, don’t they? There I go expecting “fangirls” to be reasonable.
